I bought one for my wife as a Christmas gift. She loves it. She uses it at sporting events (hockey), in her high school class room to video her students as they are working on projects, and on trips. Agreed, great video quality, and reasonable battery life. It beats the video quality of most digital still cameras and it is a lot less bulky then a video camera. Granted it is not a video camera replacement, but for some purposes, it can’t be beat.
I love my flip. Even my 1st graders can record each other for projects. Our goal is to have 1 per grade level for different projects.
