These three days in France have been parfait. It’s hard to believe I’m back in Berkeley tonight.

Wow, lunch in France before jetting home. My life stinks. By the way, on that plate with greens, was that a slab of Spam?

Rex, the menu describes the dish as “Our own duck foie gras delicacy.” Like most food names, it sounds better in French: “Gourmandise de foie gras de canard cuit maison.” Here is the menu.

Jay,

You’re killing me!! When I met you at the FOT at Asilomar, I should have volunteered to carry your bags and shoot your video and photos for you. Guess I’m forced to live vicariously through you and Kevin.

From the Chilly Tundra (Minneapolis)

More chateau photos por favor!!!! The food photos are cruel and unusual! (I’m on a diet!)
