This is my first blog post from the sky. I’m over the North Atlantic, just about to enter Continental Europe. My Lufthansa flight has Boeing wi-fi. It’s not a speed demon. Images crawl open. The price is $10 an hour, $15 for two hours, or $28 for an entire trip. This is a ten-hour flight from Portland to Frankfurt but I expected to snooze part of the time, so I opted for the two-hour deal.
No more sleeping en route.

I’ve been wanting to give that service a try, but I haven’t had an opportunity yet. I know that it would help me to be a lot more productive while in the air.
